Bronze Casting and Modelling Courses

Since 2013 students have been joining courses and workshops run by Mark at his studios at Cilyrynys, or online.  Under the New British Art banner, Mark's bronze casting courses run regularly throughout the year, and he has also created bespoke sessions to allow students to develop their individual practice or learn specific skills to enable them to set up their own foundry facilities.

For example, Mark has worked with the Eden Project, building a furnace for them on site in Cornwall and instructing and helping their designer maker team to set up a working foundry.

Other courses developed and run by Mark include silicon rubber mould making, and modelling from the figure.

​

He is developing an extended modular course for students who wish to develop their individual practice with expert direction, which will run via a hybrid method, online and in-person.
