Mark Halliday is developing a series of short to medium term residences for practitioners to live and work in buildings at his home in West Wales.

Michelle Lemire, Quebec, Canada – Michelle came over to work with Mark as part of her Canadian Arts Council funded project helping her to extend her usual practice working with porcelain into using bronze casting. Beatrice Marr, Athens, Greece – Beatrice visited the foundry to experiment with bronze casting. Her usual work is drawing. She was introduced to Mark through her Masters course at Swindon college.
Darren O’Connor, Cuimba, Brazil and London – Darren has visited Cilyrynys several times and worked with Mark on producing a mould for a bell, to be used in a prop in a play by Brazilian playwright.
